Sahara Desert in Morocco
The vast Moroccan Sahara desert in Merzouga is a beautiful place to witness the sunrise and sunset. The reddish-orange horizon is framed by the stunning Saharan sand dunes. As the sun slowly rises, the golden light illuminates the sand. When the sun goes down the silhouettes of the dunes become illuminated by the sunset. seeing the sunrise in the Merzouga desert is a special experience. It is a reminder of how magnificent the world can be. It gives us hope that we will continue to see more beautiful moments in our lives. I believe that life is better when the sun is shining. There are many places that I enjoy seeing the sun set and rise From, but the Moroccan desert is easily one of my favourites. When I see the Moroccan landscape illuminated during sunset, I can’t help but feel inspired. This inspires me to create things in my life that will bring happiness to others. Watching the sun rise and set from the Merzouga desert is truly something special. There is something about the vibrant colours and amazing scenery that make this unforgettable experience. Sunrise Camel Trek: lasting for almost an hour and half:
Your sunrise camel trek begins early around 4-5am taking you in a magnificent camel trek through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will be accompanied with a guide who knows well the track that leads to high dunes and who can speak some Spanish, English or French. Near your hotel, you will mount your camel and start trekking ahead deep inside the dunes, all you will see is vast sea sand, and all you can hear is the footsteps of your camel. In order to have a fabulous view and experience the peace, tranquility, sensation and sights you must climb the tallest dune. Otherwise, watch the sunrise around your camel park area. You will appreciate the serenity and tranquility of the desert. After spending these precious moments watching the sunrise you will return to your Auberge.
Sunset Camel Trek: lasting for almost an hour and half:
Your journey begins with the caravan of Sahara around 4-5 pm taking you in a wonderful camel trek through the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will be accompanied with a guide who knows well the path that leads to high dunes and who can speak some Spanish, English or French. Near your hotel, you will mount your camel and start moving ahead deep inside the dunes, all you will see is vast sea sand, and all you can hear is the footsteps of your camel. In order to have a fabulous view you must climb to the top of the dunes to experience the peace, tranquillity, sensation and sights. Instead watch the sunset around your camel park area. You will appreciate the serenity and tranquillity of the desert. After spending these valuable moments watching the sunset you will return to your Auberge.
