10 Days Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga Desert starts in Marrakech Getting to the Erg Chebbi Desert by route of Ouarzazate and passing High Atlas Mountains. Visiting Telouat and Ait Benhaddou Kasbahs. With the Atlas studio in Roses Valley, Ouarzazate, dubbed “Africa’s Hollywood,” is the continent’s second-largest film production facility. A spectacular landscape can be found in Dades Valley. After spending the night at the Dades gorge, we’ll go to Tenghir to visit Todgha Gorge. And then heading to Merzouga desert, a place you will have many activities like camal trekking, quad or sand surf. After breakfast, we’ll take the alternate route to Marrakech, passing by the Rissani Market, Tazarine, Nkob, Dra Valley, Ouarzazate, and finally Marrakech. You will have two days available to explore Essaouira and the Ouzoud waterfalls.
Upon arrival, we will pick you up from the airport of Marrakech towards your accommodation, and get enough rest, later you can go for walk in the Medina and see Jamaa-al fna.
In the second day, we will explore Marrakech optional private guide tour of Marrakech Medina. You’ll see the famed Koutubia Mosque, the Medina and its souks, and learn about some of Marrakech’s history, like the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, and an evening in Medina Riad.
Your wonderful journey starts from your accommodation in Marrakech. Those destinations are the most famous, and highly visited in Morocco. On the way, you are going to see the beauty of Atlas Mountains via Tizin-Tichka road. Then continuing to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait-Benhaddou, where you will have lunch near the Kasbah. After, we will continue to Ouarzazate, where you will visit Atlas Studios and the Kasbah Taourirt, before continuing to Dades gorges.
After the breakfast in Dades valley, you will continue your journey to Merzouga (Sahara Desert) a very special magnificent destination. We will be driving through the valley to visit the incredible rock structure “the monkey toes”, then to the still-standing 19th century Kasbah Aït Yul.
